Richard & Trevor were caught on the webcam in Lerwick this evening, loitering whilst on the telephone home!
After a hot meal in the hotel they were off for a nap before setting out to start the 4th leg to Lowestoft at 03.15 Sunday morning. I understand that the wind is abating a little (force 9 gales last night), so the bigger boats will have had a fast run down the east coast and it is likely that Jangada will drop down the overall rankings a little this leg as they will have much light winds.
News from the home front: Sophie had her school Sports day today and Christopher played cricket for the U15A's. The dogs have had a haircut and I am having a quiet time this week after the hectic fortnight I have just had with friends visiting from America, a needlework class and a trip to Germany.

Now I know where the webcam was. We were probably staring into a CCTV camera with a security guy wondering what we were doing.
ReplyDeleteThe next leg looks difficult to predict with a high pressure system sitting over the UK & North Seas. Do we go left, right or straight down the rhumb line - time to toss a coin perhaps!
